Here are some steps to take if your bike is LOST!
Stay Calm! - Try if you can, breath in at a 4 second rate - then hold your breath for 4 seconds, and finally breath out at a 4 second rate. This should help with controlling our heart rate and thinking rationally.
Double Check the area where you left your bike. Sometimes bikes are moved by building staff or towed for parking violations. Verify the bike is truly missing before proceeding.
Video / Surveillance There may be video systems in the area where you left your bike. .
Sites like BikeIndex, Project 529 Garage, and FindMyBike.net(FMB) FMB Allows you to mark your bike as stolen and alert the cycling community.
Other platforms can often link with other databases and police systems.
